I have some exciting news to share with you – we’ve got a new slate of endorsements to announce today!

I’m so happy to be endorsed by Fmr. Senator and current Broward City Commissioner Nan Rich, Fmr. Representative Annie Betancourt, Fmr. Senator Paula Dockery, and Fmr. Senator Ron Silver.

This group of bipartisan leaders have all made an impact here in South Florida, and I’m honored to have their support.

Nan Rich was one of the most influential members of the State Senate during her eight years serving, eventually becoming the first woman elected Senate Democratic Leader. She became known as a champion of social justice issues, using her time as leader to work towards better care for children and seniors, as well as fighting for individual rights. She continues to be committed to these issues as County Commissioner today.

Annie Betancourt represented Dade County in the Florida House for eight years and she was a champion of women’s issues, as well as a strong advocate for Hispanic-Americans.

Paula Dockery was a Republican lawmaker in both the Florida House and Senate where she was a leader on environmental and criminal justice issues. Ron Silver was a member of the Florida House for ten years and then served the same amount of time in the Senate, making him one of the most influential political leaders in South Florida.
