Hi John,

This past weekend, we had two amazing opportunities to get out into the district and continue spreading the word about our campaign! 

We kicked off the weekend at Miami Beach Pride and walked in the parade with Equality Florida. It was such an amazing experience, because it was the first time I’ve been to Pride with my wife and daughter. In light of everything that’s happened the last few months, having my family by my side as we joined our community in celebration of love meant the world to me. 

We then headed to Cutler Bay where we partnered with Ruth’s List Florida and Blue Wave Coalition to knock on doors with Team Janelle! I loved meeting with and talking to constituents about our vision for the future. And I know that, together, we are going to win this race. 

Events like these remind me of why I’m running – because I want to uplift the voices of our community and pass meaningful policies to improve their lives, as well as the lives of ALL Floridians.
