Time sure flies, folks.

Tomorrow marks six months until Election Day, which means our people-powered campaign only has six months to gear up for the most crucial election in decades.

It's time to put the pedal to the metal and use every resource to mobilize voters far and wide in Louisiana — phone calls, text messages, mail pieces, digital media, and everything in between.

For six years, we've gotten nothing but soundbites from Sen. Kennedy — and not one of them has repaved a road, reduced traffic on I-10, improved literacy rates, or cut crime. Despite all his interviews, many Louisiana families still can't afford daycare, prescription medicines, pre-K, or higher education.

And that's the story with Sen. Kennedy: Much has been said, but nothing has been done.

These last six months aren't going to be easy, but it will all be worth it on November 8th, when we finally defeat Kennedy and bring responsible leadership to Louisiana.
