Hi, John – it's Deb and Jerry, Abby's parents. We just watched our daughter step off the debate stage – and we couldn't be prouder.

We don't have the words to describe what it feels like to watch your daughter run for U.S. Senate – particularly against Chuck Grassley, who has been our senator since before our daughter was even born and has turned his back on working families like ours. As Abby took the debate stage tonight with a strong vision and conviction, we saw clear as day that our daughter is the right person to represent our community and state in the Senate. We know we’re a little biased – but if you were tuned in, we think you’d agree. 

Tonight, we saw exactly why Abby is leading in this primary by 49 points. She is the best candidate to take on Sen. Grassley, and no one is going to work harder than she will to flip this seat blue.

After Abby's incredible performance on the debate stage tonight, she's one step closer to defeating Sen. Grassley. But she still has a long path ahead of her, and she'll need major grassroots support behind her to compete with the Republicans' war chest of $44 million.
