Fighting for Abortion Without Roe.

The leaked draft SCOTUS memo confirms our deepest fears that the Supreme Court is ready to take away the ability to control if and when to have a child.

To be clear, abortion is still legal and protected by federal law. Still, if Roe is overruled, it would cause devastating implications and deprive millions of people in this country of access to essential health care. And Wisconsin is one of 26 states that could ban abortion if the Court reverses Roe.

We know how critical this issue is, and our team is prepared to fight back, but we need your support now more than ever. In this moment of uncertainty, we want to let you know what we are doing and provide you with a few ways to activate and remain engaged:

* As news traveled and protests began, our steadfast team of legal observers was there in Milwaukee at Red Arrow Park on Wednesday and at Planned Parenthood on Saturday. If you'd like to become a legal observer, email [email protected] to learn more.

* Save the date for one of two virtual townhall events – Wednesday, May 11, 6 p.m. <[link removed]> and Thursday, May 12, 12 p.m. <[link removed]> – to discuss what overturning Roe v. We know you might be tired, and your desire to fight might be waning. But this is the time, this is the moment, to stand up and fight back. Fight back by attending a protest; fight back by supporting organizations working on the ground to protect abortion rights; and fight back by showing up in droves at the polls in August, November, and next April.
