**WITH VOTES STILL BEING COUNTED** JAMIE MCLEOD-SKINNER IS IN THE LEAD AGAINST SCHRADER
Friends, it was a late night on the BTE team. We stayed up all night trolling the polls, watching Jamie pull farther and farther ahead.
We wanted to give you all an update on the race so you can follow along with us.
We know you want to know the final results as badly as we do but we will have to wait just a while longer. There was a misprint in the ballots for one of the Oregon counties so we are still waiting for those votes to go out.
This is not ideal and it is hard to wait this long but we must respect the process, and we have so much hope with recent polling news. The last we heard, Jamie pulled ahead a significant amount in several counties, with votes in Clackamas county outstanding. This is huge, but we can’t let the momentum of her race fall now, and we have to fight for every last vote during this process. It is more important than ever to supercharge the talk about this race because it is not over yet.
Jamie can win this thing and be the true change that Oregon needs. This is a huge national race folk, let’s get everyone talking about it! Getting out the vote and making donations are the two best ways to help ensure Jamie pulls through in the end.
Keep an eye out for updates on her race and please if you can rush a contribution to get more true Democrats as Jamie elected! Grassroots campaigns need to stick together!
