This week we are devastated by the news of a gunman who killed 19 children and two teachers at an elementary school in Uvalde. Texans and Californians from every background know that our children deserve better - they deserve leaders who value their lives and ensure they can safely grow up, graduate and thrive.

Tragically we’ve been here before, but this time must be different. 

Politicians in Texas and across the country who block action must know that the vast majority of us favor commonsense gun safety.
