I’d like to start by saying thank you for choosing me to be your Democratic nominee for Governor of Arkansas. I’m honored. It’s because of faith, hope, and hard work that we were able to accomplish this goal.

With the Primary Election officially complete, the real work begins as we look to November. And I’d like to explain exactly what we’re up against in the General Election with Trump-backed Sarah Huckabee Sanders and the GOP power backing her.

But we’re going up against Sarah Huckabee Sanders — who is supported by Trump, CPAC, the NRA — and has the financial and influential powers of the GOP at her disposal. It’s how she’s been able to outraise us, and why it’s so critical we hit our May fundraising goal to start the next phase of this campaign with the strongest momentum possible.

We have a real chance to build an Arkansas where everybody is valued — no matter who they are or where they come from. But we’ll need grassroots supporters like you to get our message out.
