I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for chipping in, organizing, casting a ballot, and doing everything you can to help this team secure the Democratic nomination to become the next governor of Arkansas. Because of your support, we’re one step closer to beating Sarah Huckabee Sanders and changing our great state for generations to come.

In November, Arkansas will make history. We will either elect the first woman or the first African-American to this very seat. Here’s the truth — neither should ever be a barrier again. Our campaign is all about visiting every county, talking to voters and local newspapers, participating in debates, and earning every single vote. My opponent has taken more of an extremist and elitist approach that leaves so many Arkansans behind — all while assuming she can buy this election while not talking with or showing up for voters.

To me that speaks to how differently she and I will lead our state into the future. While she focuses on repeating extremist talking points that have dominated national conservative airways, our campaign’s focus is to organize and connect face-to-face with real Arkansans on the ground and discuss solutions for the biggest challenges our state faces. We’ve already touched every single one of Arkansas’ 75 counties, and we’re about to do it again through our "Walk a Mile in Your Shoes" organizing tour.

The stakes couldn’t be higher or clearer, and we’ve got the opportunity of a lifetime to chart a new course for the state my family has called home for 200 years. I’m fired up about it, and I hope you are, too. Let’s win this election and finally spread opportunities like Pre-School, Broadband, and Jobs (PB&J) all across Arkansas.
