My mind is focused on the next 48 hours, John. On Tuesday, we'll face the biggest moment yet in our race to defeat Sen. Chuck Grassley (R): our primary election.

When I first got into this race, I promised folks like you that nobody would work harder than I would to defeat Sen. Chuck Grassley, and that remains true. I know what it takes:
I have already won one election against a man twice my age – and when I did, I became the youngest woman to flip a House seat from red to blue.

I'm so determined because the stakes remain so high – for Iowans and for Americans everywhere. Sen. Chuck Grassley bears direct responsibility for Roe v. Wade being on the chopping block. He's turned his back on working families in favor of wealthy elites and special interests. He's embraced the extremism of his party. To put it simply, he has changed: he is not the same man who Iowans first sent to Washington nearly FIVE decades ago.

We can and WILL defeat him, and when we do, our victory will virtually guarantee a Democratic Senate majority. But first, over these next 48 hours, I need this grassroots team to fight hard alongside me – and give this race everything you've got so we can win this primary and retire Sen. Grassley.
