Happy Pride Month B/E Family!
My name is Kimi Cole - I am a Barrier To Entry PAC endorsed candidate and I am running to be the first transgender woman to hold statewide office!
It saddens me to say that we are still seeing violent attacks every single day on the LGBTQ+ community. I know firsthand what it feels like to be misgendered, judged, and verbally attacked because of my identity. And let me tell you, it sucks.
Why have we not come further as a country to accept that every person does not have to be straight, white, or love the body they are born with? It’s unacceptable.
I have been fighting this fight for a long time, friends. I am fighting hard for trans youth who don’t have a voice and are ostracized by Republican parties every day of their life. They need to know that people have their backs and are going to be protected. I am going to fight like hell to make sure they know that.
We are out of time waiting and hoping for things to get better. We need to start fighting and screaming for the LGBTQ+ community to get the same basic rights that straight people receive.
I know what it feels like to not have a voice, I don’t want anyone, especially children to ever feel that. Please donate to help elect me and more LGBTQ+ individuals to office so our democracy can have fair and equal representation.
