Folks — this week’s bombshell January 6th committee hearing is a powerful reminder that Senator John Kennedy put our democracy in the greatest crisis we've faced since the Civil War.

Kennedy spread a dangerous lie. He told millions of people that the election result was rigged and voted to overturn a free and fair election. And on January 6th, he chose lies over truth, party over country, and lawlessness and violence over law and order.

Months later, Sen. Kennedy even VOTED AGAINST an independent, bipartisan January 6th commission and has since tried to dismiss the seriousness of the insurrection.
