IT'S TIME TO GET OUT THE VOTE!
Neighbors and Friends,
DC's Democratic Primary Election is here! Ballot drop boxes opened on May 27th, in-person early voting started on June 10th and election day is 8 days away – June 21st. As we continue to speak with neighbors throughout the ward, we’re realizing that many of our neighbors have not yet voted.
We know there is a lot of great energy and momentum in our favor, but for Ward 5 to go #ForwardWithFaith that energy must translate into a trip to the drop box or the voting booth. In this crowded race, every vote will count.
I am counting on you, Ward 5, to make sure your vote is counted. I also need you to encourage and support your neighbors and family members to cast their ballots. As I have pointed out before, elections have consequences.
Right now, our ward needs a leader on the Council who will be ready on Day 1 to dive into the pressing issues our communities are facing – public safety, affordable housing, environmental justice, education and training, job and entrepreneurship opportunities, and traffic safety, among others.
With more than 12 years of experience working in our community, building relationships, and getting results on some serious community issues, I know, and many of our community leaders agree, that I am the best person for this job, for this exact moment.
In the same way that we will solve our problems and grow our ward together, we must win this election together. If Ward 5 is to move #ForwardWithFaith, it is up to all of us to make it happen.
LET ME KNOW YOU'RE ON TEAM FAITH
If you have cast your vote for Team Faith, please reply to this email and let me know. Let me know if you took a neighbor or family member to vote. Share that you voted @FaithForWard5DC on social media. Also let me know if you want to be a part of the celebration on election night, June 21st, and we’ll make sure you get the invite.
The power is in our community. Let's do this together, Ward 5!
In partnership,
Faith Gibson Hubbard
