The Supreme Court has officially released a decision that overturns Roe v. Wade and outlaws abortion for millions across America. Today’s news of the Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade is nothing short of an assault on women’s rights.
This marks a dark era in our country and who is in Congress protecting reproductive rights is now more important than ever. I’ll continue to fight with everything I have to make sure access to safe and legal abortion is available in Wisconsin and across the country. Abortion care is a fundamental human right, and I will fight like hell to protect it in the Senate.
We must show urgency and overturn the filibuster in order to protect the fabric and freedom of all Americans. Outlawing abortion harms people across the country and will tear families apart.
