Senator John Kennedy voted AGAINST bipartisan, common sense gun legislation that will help reduce gun violence and mass shootings by improving background checks on buyers 18-21, closing the boyfriend loophole, and incentivizing red flag laws.

And 15 of his Republican colleagues voted FOR it.

Look, we all feel sick, sad, and angry about the recent mass shootings and the spike in violent crime in this country. But Kennedy is a sitting United States Senator. He has a position of authority and can do more than talk and offer condolences.

He had the chance to act, but his vote proves he doesn’t care.
