We know you receive a good number of fundraising emails, so we felt we owed you an explanation of exactly where your contribution goes when you make it.

There are 515,227 registered voters in New York's new 17th district. 211,491 of them are Democrats, and another 136,454 have no official party registration at all.

We have only one plan for this campaign: Get Alessandra's message in front of as many of these people as possible, and turn them out to vote.

It's a simple task, but not an easy one. Doing it right takes a LOT of resources. That's why we're asking:
