We hope you are staying cool in this late July heat! This August, our language department will hold a movie night, screening the film I Was, I Am, I Will Be (Es gilt das gesprochene Wort). Bring your own snacks and drinks and join us!
In September, our cultural events will resume on September 7 with a screening of the documentary Barry Farm: Community, Land and Justice in Washington, DC, co-presented by the Bertelsmann Foundation. On September 9, we present a film screening and book presentation on the history of Black mobilities in the United States, co-hosted by the German Historical Institute.
