There's still hope for progressives, but time is running out before the midterm elections in
November.

Team,
Although we didn’t get the election results we had hoped for in Tuesday’s Ohio primaries, we are far from discouraged.
The very nature of what we do at B/E has always been about more than simply winning elections. Women, low-income, rural, BIPOC, and other marginalized communities are disproportionately underrepresented in our government. And yet, these are the individuals who are often most affected by policy that is currently being controlled by out-of-touch privileged politicians.
It seems simple enough: We should have working-class representatives to represent the working-class. But unfortunately, the Democratic political space isn’t there yet.
That’s exactly why B/E exists. We know that bold working-class changemakers are out there and have what it takes to make a difference in public office, but they lack the political and financial advantages, which creates barriers and discourages them from even running.
By providing these bold members of our community with necessary resources and support, B/E helps our candidates break these socioeconomic barriers and works to dismantle the political system designed to hold them back.
So regardless of our victories or losses, we consider every race we have worked on to be a success. Each of our candidates has shown the courage to challenge the status quo, even when the odds are stacked against them. They've broken new ground and have had lasting impacts on advancing critical progressive causes.
This is just the beginning. The fight isn’t over yet, and we can’t give up hope for working-class progressives.
We have at least one more competitive race coming up: After helping Angie Jackson win her judicial primary, she’s now on to the general election to become the next common pleas judge in Montgomery County, OH. AND we hope to empower even more working-class candidates before then, too.
But time is running out before the midterms in November, so your continued support is more critical than ever. If you're still truly committed to the fight to build a government that reflects everyday people, will you rush a contribution of any amount right away? CHIP IN NOW >> ([link removed])
