Born Free has been protecting elephants in Amboseli, at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, for decades, and we are delighted to announce the birth of 91 calves in the last year! Along with our partners, the Amboseli Trust for Elephants, we are keeping a close eye on them – especially in light of the severe drought affecting the Horn of Africa ( [link removed] ).
