We sent you an email last week about how we’ve been intentionally keeping things on the fundraising front quiet for most of August because we wanted to give you some space to soak up the last bit of summer.

In that same email, we talked about a feeling that we call “the September scaries” describing that looming sense of urgency knowing that September and October are our final months before the midterm elections. Welp, it’s pretty much here in full swing now, folks.

We’re officially worried because the GOP continues to have some startling advantages over Dems -- including newly passed voter suppression laws, voter intimidation and disinformation, and an extremist right-wing MAGA mob that is sure to vote — out of bitterness (and denial) about losing in the last big election.

Far-right attacks on abortion access, trans youth, education, and the working class are becoming increasingly more brazen, and we must STOP them from winning before they have the chance to do more damage. That’s why we’ve set an ambitious August end-of-month goal of raising $8,001 by TOMORROW.
