The Supreme Court has turned Republican governors into kings — and that’s just one more reason we need to stop Donald Trump’s former mouthpiece Sarah Huckabee Sanders from becoming the next governor of Arkansas.

Sarah just might be the worst of the class of Republican governors if she wins this November, and that would be a feat considering her competition — folks like Ron DeSantis, Greg Abbott, Tate Reeves, and Kay Ivey.

But it’s true: She’s said herself she wants to nationalize this office and use the governor’s role to fight national battles instead of prioritizing the very real problems everyday Arkansans are still facing. If elected, she’ll use our state as an experimentation ground for some of the worst policies we’ve seen. If we think Ron DeSantis is bad, there’s no chance Sarah’s going to let him upstage her.

That’s why we need this grassroots coalition to come together and help stop her now, before we’re unable to rid ourselves of her influence ever again.
