When Michigan’s 2022 political maps were redrawn, several Democratic-leaning districts shifted more Republican. Unfortunately, mine was one of them.
Just take a look at these numbers* and you’ll see what I’m up against:
- With my old District 25 lines, I won by a margin of 6
- Voter makeup in my new District 58 gave Trump a +6 point victory
My race is a toss-up right now, and some predictions suggest it will only get tighter and could favor Republicans as we head into November. We can’t let that happen!
