Silverman helps launch DC Labor to Labor effort
The Metro Washington Labor Council’s DC Labor to Labor effort launched on Saturday, with labor-endorsed DC City Council At-Large candidate Elissa Silverman on hand to welcome members of Painters DC 51, IATSE 22, AFGE District 14, and the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen (BLET). Silverman then hit the doors with BLET’s Herb Harris. “Congratulations to Herbert and his union on successful negotiations to get workers sick days!” said Silverman.
