And now, mere weeks before election day, a new poll shows that Barnes and Johnson are statistically tied! With this race neck and neck, grassroots activists like you, John, are going to make the difference in this final stretch. Mandela Barnes is exactly the type of leader that we need in Washington. A proud product of our middle class, he was raised by a public school teacher and a third-shift auto worker. He spent the last decade fighting for working people as a community organizer, a state legislator, and Wisconsin's lieutenant governor.

Both Mandela and I have seen the incredible good that the government can do on the local, state, and federal levels. But we've also seen how families can be left behind and left out when our leaders fail to live up to the promises that they've made.
