Dear Friend of Liberty,
Michael and Chantell Sackett have been fighting for 15 years to build a home on the private property they own near Priest Lake in Bonner County, Idaho.
It’s not for the usual reasons like a lack of building supplies or unresponsive contractors. It’s because the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) declared that their land is a wetland.
But here’s the kicker. The Sacketts’ land is not wet. There’s no water on it!
Still, the government is going after them. And if the couple doesn’t comply with the EPA’s outlandish regulations, they could face fines up to $32,500 per day!
The Sacketts have been dragged through the courts for years fighting for their property rights—and yours. Now, their case will be argued before the U.S. Supreme Court. And MSLF has lent them support in their fight against this blatant government overreach.
That’s why I’m emailing you today with a special request.
I’m hoping you will stand with the Sacketts and show them you support their fight by signing our petition today.
If the EPA is allowed to trample the lives of private citizens like the Sacketts with no opposition, there’s no telling who could be next.
But your voice today will push back against this injustice and show the government that you stand for freedom and the private property rights of every American citizen.
Please sign the petition below declaring your desire to stand against this blatant overreach by the EPA.
- I am standing for the private property rights of Michael and Chantell Sackett.
- I am standing against unelected bureaucracies that threaten the rights of individual citizens.
- I am asking the U.S. Supreme Court to rule against the EPA’s blatant government overreach.
