If you’ve been counting down the days like we have, then you know we officially have two weeks until Election Day!
To mark the occasion, Elissa sent an email earlier breaking down all of the numbers in our race for the next two weeks. We’ve included it below, in case you missed it.

Somehow – there are only two weeks left until Election Day. We’re really getting down to the wire, so I thought I’d break down the next 14 days by the numbers.
For a quick recap, I’m running in the brand new 7th district. It’s quite a bit bigger than the district I currently represent. To be specific, we added 3 new counties, 28,382 more people, and 1,310 more square miles. That has meant pulling off an aggressive strategy to meet as many new people as we possibly can.
At this point in the campaign, nearly all of our resources (that aren’t going into advertising) are going into our field program. To date, we’ve made 492,473 phone calls, sent 533,367 text messages, knocked on 53,820 doors, distributed 3,200 yard signs, and held 24 town hall style events. Our main focus is getting in touch with our supporters and seeing if they’ve already turned in their ballots. If they haven’t, by the time the conversation is over we make sure they have a concrete plan to make their voices heard.
In addition to our normal field program, we have our Michigan State University program. This has been solely focused on helping students at MSU get registered and making sure they have a plan to vote. We have 232 paid student organizers on campus helping us make that happen by talking to their peers in high traffic areas around campus, at football games, and in their actual dorms. Our other primary focus of the next two weeks: advertising. We have released 9 total TV ads so far this election, and counting. You can watch them all here [[link removed]] . Getting my message in front of voters that I haven’t been able to meet yet in the new district has been critical, as they have been bombarded with negative ads from dark money super PACs about me for months.
Unfortunately, this is THE most expensive House race in the country. ​​So far, nearly $8.5 million has been spent against me by these dark money super PACs, with another $1.5 million reserved in TV against me for the final week of the campaign alone. An insane amount that has already surpassed the spending we saw in 2020.
We’ve got a lot of work to do over the next 14 days. I know it’s felt like this election has lasted a lifetime – but if you can just hang in there with me for the next two weeks, I promise life will return to normal.
