It’s time for the craziest part of any campaign cycle: the final four.

These next four days will be complete insanity and Elissa sent an email earlier breaking down our strategy. You can read it below.

We wanted to make sure you saw her note and to reiterate just how critical the next four days will be. It’s not an exaggeration to say that elections are won and lost in this period. We’re doing everything we possibly can to deliver a favorable outcome on November 8th, but that does require a significant amount of resources. We have 8 staging locations throughout the district that will act as home bases for our volunteers and staff, and we need to ensure everything runs smoothly.

In such a tight race, letting up for even a moment can mean a loss of votes on Election Day. So, we’re asking if you’ll chip in to help us execute our final four plan and deliver a win on November 8th!

The time has finally arrived.

We’re entering the period known as the “final four.” It’s pretty self explanatory -- it means the last four days before the election. It’s also known as “GOTV,” or Get Out The Vote.

That means Team Slotkin is about to have a *constant* presence around the new 7th. We’ll have 8 locations in the 2,813 square miles of the district that will serve as home bases for our organizers and volunteers as they make our final push to knock on thousands of doors and make even more phone calls.

The name of the game is turnout. We’re looking to get in touch with voters who haven't cast a ballot yet, making sure they have a plan to get to the polls and resolve any questions or issues they might have -- or, let them know how to drop off their absentee ballots. (One fifth of registered voters in this district have already voted via absentee ballot!)

We’re not taking our foot off the gas for even a moment – and that means having the resources we need to make it happen. The money we raise in these four days goes directly out the door into the voter contact efforts I just mentioned almost instantly. It goes right into the tangible things that our volunteers might need - all 663 of the folks doing a volunteer shift with us over the last four days.

In honor of our final four, I’m asking if you will contribute $4, $40, or even $140 to help us finish out strong. Elections are won and lost in these final four days, and in one of the most competitive races in the country, we’re not leaving anything to chance.
