With just 4 days to go until Election Day, we’re sure your inbox is out-of-control with emails from candidates and groups all telling you about the importance of November 8th. We know, we’ve also been emailing you quite a bit lately, so today we thought we would explain why.

Your help in these final four days is still critically important. In this final stretch, every dollar that comes in the door is funding one thing: voter contact. 

We currently have 8 staging locations setup throughout the new district that will serve as hubs for our staff and volunteers to knock doors, make calls, and send text messages to voters to make sure they get to the polls. There’s also our Michigan State University program, where our student organizers will be making sure their fellow students have a plan to get to the polls.

This final massive Get Out the Vote push is why continuing to have money coming in the door these last few days is so important. Anything we make goes immediately back out the door into everything needed to make these staging locations function. Often it goes to things you may not immediately think of, like convincing college students to give up their weekend with the promise of free pizza.
