Team,
We just wanted to make sure you saw, former Vice President Mike Pence was in the new 7th district yesterday in support of Elissa’s opponent. This is on the heels of their scramble for endorsements after Liz Cheney flew in to campaign for Elissa on November 1st.
There was a stark contrast between their events, take a look:
Elissa’s opponent and Pence share a number of extreme views: specifically, Elissa’s opponent has said that he is “100% pro choice, no exceptions.” Mike Pence is a strong proponent of a federal ban on all abortions, for all states. They both also want to ban gay marriage, something that could also be on the table if the GOP flips the House.
This visit follows the endorsements of election-denying congressional candidate Harriet Hageman and Putin sympathizer Tusli Gabbard. The people Elissa’s opponent is choosing to align himself with in the final days of the race says quite a lot about his character.
One thing is clear: Elissa’s opponent began this campaign trying to convince the people of the new 7th district that he is a moderate, when that couldn’t be farther from the truth. Chip in below to help us get out the vote for the next 3 days and keep his extreme views out of Congress.
