Team,
It’s hard to believe it, but November 8th is just hours away!
Elissa sent an email earlier with one final note before Election Day. We wanted to send it along to make sure you saw so we’ve included it below.
In the most competitive House race in Michigan and one of the most competitive House races in the country, we’ll be working until the very last moment to get out the vote in Michigan’s new 7th district. We’ve been saying it for months, but the path to keeping the House really does come through Michigan, and we’ll be doing everything we possibly can to ensure a favorable outcome tomorrow night.
If you’d like to help us out one final time before Election Day, chip in below. There’s still a lot of work to do and we’re going to run through the tape!
Team Slotkin
Team,
In less than 24 hours, thousands of Michiganders will head to the polls. In MI07, there are 615,014 registered voters, with nearly a third voting absentee. As always, we’re prepared here on Team Slotkin.
We’re true data nerds here, and as such we will be closely watching the numbers as they trickle in from the 7 counties in MI07. We have our station, or “war room” as we call it, all set up and ready to go, take a look:
This is where we will be inputting the results coming out of the district, precinct by precinct, and getting a real time result of turnout, vote share, and whether we’re hitting the numbers we need to win. We know the goals we need to hit in our towns and counties in order to add up to a victory in this Republican-leaning district.
There’s quite a bit that goes into ensuring the next day is as smooth as it can possibly be and into reaching out to every voter that we possibly can. In addition to our war room, we’re still operating our 8 staging locations throughout the 2,813 square miles of this district. Our volunteers, staff, and I will be working until the last second before polls close so if you want to help us run through the tape, chip in below.
Thank you for hanging in there with me throughout this insane year – now let’s get this done!
Elissa
