John, today, November 8, is Election Day.
This is a hugely important moment in the fight for climate justice. At 350
Action, we're reminding voters of the bigger picture: we can end the era
of fossil fuels and transition to 100 percent renewables — but only if we
work together.
If we can keep Democratic majorities in the House and Senate, we can
continue to push for the climate legislation we need. But that means we
need everyone to show up at the polls today.
[ [link removed] ]John, will you
vote today? We have no time to waste.

John, when we
say that this election has global implications, we mean it. These midterms
come during the first week of the United Nations Climate Change Conference
in Egypt (COP 27).
President Biden is attending, and the U.S. will be leading negotiations of
Loss & Damage reparations and meaningful plans needed to address climate
impacts which cannot be avoided by adaptation and mitigation.
This is a critical moment to ensure the rights and wellbeing of our
communities to a brighter future. To achieve social and economic
transformation, we must elect climate champions — that starts at the
ballot box today.

you haven’t already, please make a plan to vote before polls close in your
state.

Today, we’re talking to thousands of voters in targeted races, any one of
which could come down to a handful of votes.
If you’ve already voted, and are looking to do more to help, there are
still volunteer shifts to get voters out to the polls in states like
Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. Will you sign up to contact voters in
[ [link removed] ]Wisconsin and [ [link removed] ]Pennsylvania today?
Thank you for doing your part,
May Boeve
