Where I grew up, many folks don’t get out — let alone get ahead.

But I was always driven to make things better. I’ve been active in every community I was a part of. I had a passion for education, and being a role model for the next generation. And with a lot of hard work, perseverance, support, and luck, I fought my way all the way up to be elected Nevada Attorney General — twice .

In my work as Attorney General, I’ve taken steps to protect homeowners from predatory lenders, cracked down on those responsible for the opioid crisis, and worked hand in hand with law enforcement to get sexual predators and violent criminals off our streets. And that’s only the tip of the iceberg — it’s my honor to get to work everyday fighting for Nevada’s most vulnerable communities.
