Happy New Year, John! These first few weeks of the year are a busy time for all of us – and Washington is certainly no exception.

With our expanded majority sworn in, Senate Democrats are hard at work determining our legislative priorities for this new Congress. Whether we’re working on regulating clean water, advocating for our USPS, or making sure that we can all afford the prescription drugs we rely on, there is a lot going on in my office.

But at the end of the day, every single piece of legislation I fight for and every vote I cast, I do for you and your family. When I vote to fund our postal system, it is your family I proudly cast that vote for. As I work night and day to protect our planet, it's your family's future that I'm fighting for. At the end of every day, it is you and your family who I answer to – every time.

That's why, as Democrats map out our legislative priorities, my team and I have decided to open the floor to hear from you. I want to know what's on your mind, what keeps you up at night, and what you want our new Democratic majority to fight for in the new year. And then, I'll tell you my plan to address your concerns.
