Hi there, John, it's Team Carper. We are reaching out because today is a very special day: It's Senator Carper's birthday!

Senator Carper would never let me get away with saying this in front of him, but we can't think of anyone who works harder than he does to fight for families in Delaware and to defend our planet. As Chair of the Environment and Public Works Committee, he's leading the charge to protect our public lands and to stop the climate crisis. 

That means long hours in D.C. and many late-night rides home on Amtrak. Far too many people go to Washington for ambition or personal gain, but we know Senator Carper serves for one reason and one reason only: To serve the families and communities he loves. 

So as Senator Carper and his family celebrate today, we wanted to put together a special thank-you to show him just how grateful this grassroots team is for his tireless work.
