Happy New Year, John! These first few weeks of the year are a busy time for all of us – and Washington is certainly no exception.

With our expanded majority sworn in, Senate Democrats are hard at work determining our legislative priorities for this new Congress. And with regulating clean water, advocating for our USPS, and making sure we can all afford the prescription drugs we rely on, there is a lot going on in my office.

But at the end of the day, every single piece of legislation I fight for and every vote I cast is for you and your family. When I vote to fund our postal system, it is your family I proudly cast that vote for. As I work night and day to protect our planet, it's your family's future that I'm fighting for. At the end of every day, it is you and your family who I answer to – every time.

The other week, I invited you to share which issues are impacting your families the most right now, what's keeping you up at night, and what you want our new Democratic majority to fight for in the new year. The responses we received have been incredibly valuable to my team and me – but it's not too late to make your voice heard, too! I've opened up this survey for another 24 hours to make sure that everyone on this team gets a chance to respond.
