John, I've known Joe Biden for decades – and I've had the privilege of counting him as a dear friend. From Delaware to Washington (and on all the Amtrak routes in between), we've worked together to move our country forward and make life better for families.

As Delaware's Senators, we've sat through many State of the Union addresses together. But of course, once he became President Obama's right-hand man, Joe got a seating upgrade. And now, on the eve of my friend's second State of the Union address, I'm more eager than ever to hear what the President will say to the American people.

I might not know exactly what's in Joe's speech, but I do know that he's got your family's best interests in mind every single step of the way. You can always count on Joe to put American families before everything else.

After Joe lays out our Democratic agenda tomorrow night, it's going to be full speed ahead to deliver on our promises. So I need to make sure that Democratic leadership is working in tandem with grassroots supporters like you. That's why I've put together a special State of the Union Priorities Survey.
