While it is true that every election – and every vote – matters, I genuinely can't think of a time when there's been more on the line than right now: protecting our environment, passing gun safety legislation, defending reproductive rights, and making life more affordable for American families. That's just the beginning of the list.

To make sure that Democrats maintain our majority in November, I need to hear from you about what's on your mind and what will bring you to the polls. Do you have a moment to take my new Democratic Priorities Survey to help inform our party's strategy heading into the midterms? I'll be honest: I'm worried about the future of our country, John. I've spent my entire adult life in public service – as a Navy veteran, a Congressman, a Governor, and now a U.S. Senator. I've joined countless others to fight for affordable health care, safeguard our environment, protect our civil liberties, defend our democracy, and move our country forward. But today, out-of-touch extremists are threatening to undo so much of the progress we've worked toward.

We can still stop them from turning back the clock – but only if we come together with a shared vision for our future. That's why I'm reaching out to you today.
