Our launch yesterday was more than we could have ever imagined, and Elissa sent you a note this morning to talk more about why she decided to get into politics in the first place. But we have one quick thing we wanted to mention before the day is over.

Tonight is our first end-of-month fundraising deadline of our campaign for Senate in Michigan.

We know, we know – we’re already asking a lot of you, early on in this campaign. But it’s also incredibly important that we put up some strong numbers in the first few days of this campaign.

People will be watching, evaluating our performance, and making decisions about how involved to get in Michigan based on our results. And we want to be able to show everyone watching that this campaign is going forward – all gas, no brakes.

So that’s where these emails and your support come in, Amelia. The contribution doesn’t have to be a lot – our campaigns are powered by people chipping in $10, $5, even just $3. It all adds up when a lot of people chip in! But we need to be able to put up an impressive number when the dust settles. So, an ask from us:
