Aberavon Cost of Living Advice Fair

I know many households in Aberavon are worried about rising costs, so I am holding a Cost of Living Advice Fair to bring together a range of organisations to help save you money.
The Cost of Living Advice Day will be Saturday 25th March between 10am to 12noon at St Agnes Church, Port Talbot, SA13 1UU.
The event will be attended by several organisations who are able to offer advice and support to help during this tough time. We have several energy companies attending, as well as the Celtic Credit Union, Warm Wales and several charities and support groups.
If you or someone you know is struggling to keep up with rising costs and increased energy bills or could use some help, then please let them know about this advice fair.

Some of the help available includes:
- Grant money towards paying your energy bills.
- Help to get free energy efficient white goods & kitchen appliances.
- Help to get a free new boiler or heating repairs for free.
- Help with debt on energy bills, water bills and other debts too.
- Help and information about applying for benefits.
- Capping your water bill or lower water rates for qualifying households.
- Help getting into employment.
- Help with home repairs like damp, water leaks, loose carpet, broken windows, cracked gutters, loose steps, and more.
- Free home insulation.
- Home energy visits.
- Free energy-efficient electric blankets.
- Free home fire safety checks.
- Access to legal aid for housing and welfare cases.
- Help getting handrails, stairlifts, access ramps, wet rooms, key safes, lights, smoke alarms and more.
