If you are going to be helping candidates for the Board of Education and want to speak authoritatively on it, I would highly recommend attending this virtual session live on March 29th. Why?
There's quite a bit of misinformation and we also have new people coming into electioneering/campaigning for the first time who are really gung-ho but are uninformed about election communications and finance requirements. It could hurt candidates. There are new finance limits as well. ELEC does not accept email questions, so if you do have questions, you'd have to call them and wait for a reply. So, this hour is good to get all of our questions answered as the ELEC compliance official walks us through the system.

After this meeting, you will know the answers to many questions regarding compliance requirements including the following:
Is there a limit to how much candidates can spend on the Board of Education race?
Can volunteers just start writing postcards and mail them to their school district residents to vote for X candidate?
Can the candidate just use their personal checking account to pay for things?
