Friend,

It’s hard to believe it, but it’s been 1 month since I launched my campaign for the U.S. Senate.

In that time I’ve started my statewide listening tour with stops in Detroit, Flint, Grand Rapids, Lansing and back to Detroit. I’ve celebrated with my fellow Michiganders as our state continues to put our new Democratic majorities in the state House and Senate to good use with meaningful legislation. And, I’ve stood on the steps of the Michigan Capitol with lawmakers, activists, and brave MSU and Oxford students and survivors to demand action to prevent gun violence.

My main priority has been meeting as many Michiganders as I can to learn what they *actually* want from their next U.S. Senator. So far, I’ve heard about equality of opportunity for our kids, lowering the costs of healthcare and childcare, making it easier for small businesses to succeed, keeping our kids safe in their classrooms and communities, and bringing good-paying jobs back to Michigan from overseas.

This will be the largest operation Team Slotkin has ever run. We’re going from running in 7 counties to running in 83 counties. But we are going to run this campaign the way we’ve always done it: by listening to what the voters want, making a strategic plan, and implementing that plan effectively.

But, in order to pull it off, we’re going to need your help. Michigan is a notoriously swingy state, and our elections are expensive. In honor of our one month anniversary, I’d love it if you’d chip in today to help us continue to put in the early work and keep this seat blue!
