Look, we all feel sick, sad, and angry about the recent mass shootings and the spike in violent crime in this country. But Kennedy is a sitting United States Senator. He has a position of authority and can do more than talk and offer condolences.
He had the chance to act, but his vote proves he doesn’t care.
That’s because Kennedy works for the gun lobby. Not the American people. Just check out what the NRA tweeted when he launched his re-election campaign with an ad glamorizing and politicizing guns:
