2022 was the worst year ever for anti-LGBTQ+ legislation. Over 344 discriminatory bills were introduced in state legislatures all across the country.

And at the federal level, Republicans introduced an even more extreme version of Florida’s “Don’t Say Gay” bill.

According to the Human Rights Campaign, last year broke the record for the “number of violent fatal incidents against trans people." And as we saw with the horrific Colorado nightclub shooting, LGBTQ+ places are no longer safe.
