While it is true that every election – and every vote – matters, I genuinely can't think of a time when there's been more on the line than right now: protecting our environment, passing gun safety legislation, defending reproductive rights, and making life more affordable for American families. That's just the beginning of the list.

I'll be honest: I'm worried about the future of our country, John. I've spent my entire adult life in public service – as a Navy veteran, a Congressman, a Governor, and now a U.S. Senator. I've joined countless others to fight for affordable health care, safeguard our environment, protect our civil liberties, defend our democracy, and move our country forward. But today, out-of-touch extremists are threatening to undo so much of the progress we've worked toward.

We can still stop them from turning back the clock – but only if we come together with a shared vision for our future. That's why I'm reaching out to you today.
